This video would have taken be about 2 weeks to finish but I had to deal with seasonal allergies and constant mucus in my throat that it hindered my productivity. 😞 Song used: ECHO cover by あらき (Araki)    • ECHO　歌った　【あらき】   I chose this cover of ECHO because the the singer sung it in a way that sounds as if they are screaming out their mental struggles and I thought it fits Akechi in that regard. Speaking of Akechi, this character really grew on me in the past few months. I first heard of him 2 years ago in a really…. memeful way… I won’t get into the details on that it’s embarrassing 😂 I used to call him that one traitor bitch out of laughs and not really out of hate. It wasn’t until April-May 2019 that I begin to take a liking to him because of pancakes and memes (you know I love memes). My liking to him happened shortly after Joker got in Smash Ultimate as a DLC and I saw that Joker got that alternate color (white with brown hair) that references Akechi and I was like “oh! Aren’t those Akechi’s colors?” so yeah. Then later on I began to realize that Akechi’s past is actually a lot deeper than what the game showed me, causing me to like him exponentially. So before I explain my intentions in my video, I will explain some Akechi background first so that you'll understand what's really going on. But ANYWAY I chose this song for Akechi because the lyrics somehow made me think of him. I like the whole concept of “You are your own worst enemy”, because I do agree that the human mind is double-edged sword towards ourselves. Another side note that when I was making that pool of blood scene, I got that idea and reference from the Tokyo Ghoul :Re manga where Kaneki in his mental subconscious, was going to drown himself in a river before Hide saved him if I recall correctly. Also near the end of Tokyo Ghoul :Re, he was in his subconscious again, but with Rize in a place surrounded by an ocean of blood. And lastly, I would like to mention that during the walking scene in this video, I was referencing the “Break in to Break Out” OP from the Persona 5 Anime.
