Poco has been teasing it mildly for a while and in a recent twitter post, it has confirmed it officially. The Poco X2 is getting a 120Hz refresh rate display similar to the Redmi K30 series phones in China. Additionally, in that process, Poco has also shown the device from the side, flaunting many elements of the X2. It seems that the X2 could end up being a rebadged Redmi K30 4G for the Indian market. Let's talk about the display first. Poco says that the X2 will get a 120Hz refresh rate display. Since the norm in the smartphone market is to come up with trendy names for features, Poco has gone ahead to call its 120Hz refresh rate display a RealityFlow display. The teaser outlines a device with a narrow-bezel display but it doesn't reveal whether the X2 is getting the dual punch-hole cutout for the cameras or the good-old notch on the top. Poco has even shown the X2 from the side and it appears that this is mostly a rebadged Redmi K30 4G. The Poco X2 will have a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor that's mounted on the power button. The rear panel will curve towards the edges and the camera module sticks out noticeably. The phone also appears to have glossy gradient back and chances are that it could be a Gorilla Glass 5 panel if Poco is changing nothing about the design of the device. With this teaser, it seems that the Poco X2 is most likely a rebadged Redmi K30 4G for the Indian market. Most of the features confirmed by Poco suggest that it has striking similarities to the Redmi K30 4G that launched in December 2019. The Poco X2 has been confirmed to use a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor as its main camera. It's still unknown as to whether the rest of the camera setup will be similar to the Redmi K30 4G's cameras. Poco has also hinted at the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, a top-tier Qualcomm chipset (possibly the Snapdragon 730G), and a high capacity 4500mAh battery. The Poco X2 will be launched on February 4 and you can expect it to go on sale quite soon. Poco could be looking to take on the Realme X2 in India with the X2 and you can expect a competitive starting price of Rs 16,000 for its base variant. Do Subscribe and Ring the Bell icon.
