Loch Lomond is Scotland's largest lake and is definitely something not to be missed when visiting this beautiful country. We decided that we didn't just want to see Loch Lomond and instead we wanted to be on Loch Lomond. To make these dreams come true, we headed to a local Decathlon store nearby and rented out a kayak for the day. For £35 it was pretty good value and the experience definitely made the price worth it. In this video you will see how we get on kayaking around the gorgeously scenic Loch Lomond. We also stop off at Inchmurrin Island and it's aptly named Inchmurrin Island Restaurant to have a spot of lunch and a pint of Scottish lager. All in all we were on the Loch for hours and it was a hell of a workout which ended with us somehow managing to get sunburnt in Scotland (I know, I thought it was impossible too...) After the Loch, our local friends Sam and Kathrine showed us the sites of their hometown of Falkirk. We saw the impressive Kelpies and also the Falkirk Wheel. It was a great little visit to Bonnie Scotland and I can't wait to go back again some time in the future. Here’s the video of how the Falkirk Wheel works: • Archimedes and a Boat Lift: the Falkirk Wheel 00:00 - Renting A Kayak 00:41 - Kayaking On Loch Lomond 2:44 - Grabbing Lunch on Inchmurrin Island 4:10 - Paddling Back to the Mainland 5:29 - Seeing the Sights of Falkirk (Falkirk Wheel + The Kelpies)
