How to Install h-encore on PS Vita & PSTV (3.65/3.68) | Firmware Update, Ensō, & Plugin Setup!

h-encore from TheFloW is the latest homebrew enabler for Vita consoles of all variants working up to firmware 3.68. This modification allows you to install and launch third party homebrew games, applications, load kernel plugins, and truly unlock the full potential of the Vita. This tutorial will show you how to update to firmware 3.65 if you are on an earlier version, how to install h-encore, how to make h-encore apply permanently on boot if you're on firmware 3.65, and how to load plugins through the taiHEN engine! It should be noted that this tutorial works for all Vita consoles up to firmware 3.68. Thanks to HENkaku's version spoofing you can still get online while retaining an older firmware, so once your console is modified this should not be much of an issue. If you are on firmware 3.65 you also have the opportunity to install Ensō to make your custom firmware apply on boot as opposed to running h-encore on every bootup! 3.69 was just released meaning that anyone who has updated past 3.68 CANNOT follow this tutorial anymore. However if you are on 3.67 or 3.68 you can still follow the guide and connect to PSN to transfer your FinalHE file! In your network settings, be sure to set your Primary DNS to 212.47.229.76 before installing FinalHE.
