In Section 21, we discuss the various ways that College Board will test your knowledge of research studies: their design, their validity, and the conclusions we can—and can't—draw from them. NOTE: All info in this video applies to the DIGITAL SAT, but there are some points to keep in mind. Calculators are now allowed on ALL math questions (a Desmos calculator is built in to the testing app) and the “grid ins” (self-produced response questions) now allow for a wider range of answers (up to 5 digits, negative numbers, etc). Regarding calculator use, we recommend students continue to attempt the “no calculator” questions in our manual without a calculator, but if they feel they must use one, they certainly can. As for the grid-ins, those in our manual abide by the paper test rules, not the DSAT ones.
