Elbow arthroscopy in the athlete involves more than just removing a few loose fragments. I’ve taken care of hundreds of high-level mixed martial artist and athletes with this unique condition. It’s very unique to athletes. Unfortunately many patients end up getting misdiagnosed as arthritis, tendinitis or cubital tunnel. This condition requires a very specific surgical approach that address all the pathology. Steroid injections will not solve the underlying problem.
