(Armenian-language video. For the English version, visit    • A New Community Center for Ivanyan  ). Ivanyan is a storied village in Artsakh, with a vibrant cultural life. For the past 25 years, however, the village has lacked adequate facilities for civic, healthcare, and cultural services. In 2017, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund addressed the issue by building a state-of-the-art multifunctional community center in the village. The two-story structure will house the Ivanyan municipality and mayor’s office, a medical clinic, a spacious event hall with a theater stage, a library, and a computer room. The project was co-sponsored by the Fund’s Toronto affiliate and the government of Artsakh. As with scores of such community centers built by the Fund throughout Artsakh and Armenia, the new community center of Ivanyan will vastly enhance local governance, foster civic and cultural excellence, and improve overall quality of life.
