R2 Drive Inspection Results in a Horrifying Discovery!

In preparation for an upcoming event, I decided to disassemble and inspect my drives with the intention of implementing the sonic hub drive gear update. When I took apart the right side drive, I made an unexpected discovery. In addition to a loose bolt from the metal flange update, I find out that the drive frame surround that holds the motor in place had completely cracked into two pieces! The only real solution is to reprint the main drive frame piece. While I'm at it, I also reprint the other half of the drive frame, then reassemble the drives with the new sonic hubs in place. The moral of the story: Inspect your droids periodically. 3D printed droids are plastic, after all, and it's simply a matter of time before parts crack or break. Better that you catch it before an event, than facing the embarrassment of having your droid break down in public.
