Futurecasting series: on Friday 13 August, 2021, the EDP in collaboration with the City of Cape Town’s Resilience Unit held a Futurecasting event; which is part of a series aimed at exploring possible approaches to mitigate the impact of current crises and disruptions at a city level.   The discussion, entitled “How can Cape Town prepare for shocks and stresses in the current changing nature of risk?” was moderated by EDP’s Operations Executive Gill Cullinan and had the participation of three speakers whom, from their diverse perspectives, brought concepts of resilience, growth and infrastructure into focus.
