ProPublica has launched Rx Inspector, a first-of-its-kind tool that provides answers to what the Food and Drug Administration won’t tell us: where our generics are coming from and the track records of the facilities that made them. Journalists, patients, pharmacists and more can use this database to look up the track record of the factories around the world that manufacture generic prescription drugs, including inspection and compliance documents filed after an inspection.
