Important - Read This ⚠️1. ALWAYS write the time the it was applied, on the forehead of the person ⚠️2. Tourniquets (TQs) are for serious bleeding, on arms, and legs only. Place the TQ at the top of the arm, or top of the leg ⚠️3. This model represents a small arm, it is much harder to stop a bleeding artery in a leg ⚠️4. Once placed, a TQ is only allowed to be removed by a doctor ⚠️5. Get to hospital within 2 hours to prevent permanent injury of the limb ⚠️6. Do not place the TQ on top of joints (elbows/knees, etc). BIG thank you to the team at ‪@HealthandSafetyInst‬ for their super clever bleeding model design, which I used for this video.
