Living with 21 Dogs (Domestic Canines), 2 Wild Canines, 2 Felines and 3 Kids! I'm just a Dad at home looking after my animals and kids ... along with my wife Sam. Was once in the Military, was once a dog daycare owner and dog trainer. Not anymore. Living the country life caring for my pack. 00:00:00 Highlights Reel Intro 00:00:49 Morning Run Routine after 6am Start with Introduction Text for New Subs 00:04:14 Luke Chats about the Ducklings Hatching 00:13:23 Search for Lost Ducklings 00:17:34 Helping a Father and Lost Duckling Reunite with Mother and Clutch 00:26:35 Relocation to Playground to Exercise and discovery of more Ducklings 00:38:54 Bringing in the Bins and New Boundary Training at Front Gate 00:42:17 Bush/Forest Walk in Rain with Kids and Dogs 00:47:59 Bush/Forest Walk in Rain with Dingoes and Dogs 01:01:21 House Cleaning Routine 01:03:03 Dogs come inside while Dad works and has lunch 01:24:00 Dog Treat Hunting in the Ball Pit on Trampoline for Fun 01:31:43 Luke Chats about Dingo Enclosure Work and Dog Behaviour 01:53:33 Cleaning the Dog Pool 02:05:39 Wee on the Drivers Seat 02:07:20 Dingo Treats - Eggs 02:11:04 Cooking Dinner for Dogs - Salmon and Steak from Dru Thank you 02:19:58 Afternoon Tea Outside with Dogs 02:25:56 Inside after Dinner Getting Ready for Bed - Nighttime Putting to Bed Routine P.S From Sam - Just thought I'd mention a couple of things in case anyone is wondering. I have made a new little highlight reel at the beginning for those that don't want to watch the long video, it gives you the gist of what is happening. As well as the timestamps to click to. Thank you to those that do watch some or all of the longer videos, they are the ones that help us the most above all, with food and vet bills. Thank you, thank you. Also, a pre-warning, one of the ducklings does not make it. We, of course do not show anything, but Luke does mention it and I want to let you know also here. It is a stressful time for Luke, he is an avid wildlife lover and does his best to help as many survive each year. You might ask why would ducks nest on a property with so many dogs? Surprisingly or not, it is safer, with the help of Luke managing the dogs and running around every day reuniting them. If they end up on the other side of the fence, they are gone within hours from foxes, snakes, birds of prey, dingoes and even big fish in the dam. We have seen it for ourselves, year on year. Due to the wet and windy weather we've had, we get a lot of freshly fallen sticks etc. It messes up the pool, but another hazard is stick injuries for the dogs. We try to clean up every year - the tracks, but unfortunately it is part and parcel of living in the bush. The dogs sometimes get jagged and cause minor injury. We've been dealing with it since day care days and honestly the dogs don't even care, but this time of year we get a few scratches and some even need a couple of stitches. Another thing, eggs are a treat for Dingoes. They're actually a complete source of nutrition when found in the wild for them, so they are usually special to find. Dingoes will carefully pierce an egg and extract the contents. And finally, whilst this is a real representation of what a day at the farm looks like for Luke and the dogs, this is actually parts of a few days separately. Not one complete day from start to finish. It was over 16 hours of footage and this was the condensed version. I'll upload the extended version to our The Farm - Dog TV channel ... at some stage soonish. Thank you everyone so much for watching. __________________________________________________________________ New Farm Channel @TheFarm-DogTV We've started this NEW long format channel called The Farm - Dog TV as a way for people to support The Farm.
