Nysa 522 Welly. Full renovation and conversion to the Polish Film Chronicle model.
I bought an incomplete model of Nysa 522 from Welly at a flea market. I decided to renovate it and present it to viewers around the world as a Polish Newsreel car from the 1960s. It should be explained to foreign viewers that it is a Polish Newsreel car. PKF was a 10-minute news program, shown in cinemas before every film screening in Poland from 1944 to 1994. It appeared every week with a new episode. The Polish Film Chronicle was liked by viewers because, as one of its creators said, the camera doesn't lie and, despite some pro-government reports, it also contained many very witty reports about the life of Poles. The model I bought had very damaged paint. The body was probably not degreased before applying the paint. It was missing front wheels and was fully glazed. I used a camera and a cameraman from the Corgi model for the conversion, which I have always liked very much. I also created a box illustrating this model.
