McFarland House - Our Future Home!

We are delighted to announce that Preservation Austin’s office will move to the 1947 Streamline Moderne McFarland House, located at 3805 Red River Street starting in 2022! We purchased this landmark in 2019 and have spent the last year working on its rehabilitation and listing in the National Register of Historic Places. We are thankful to our board, staff, volunteers and members for dedicating countless hours to this project, and to our future home.
