Does the DJI Pocket 3 camera connect to the Zoom M2 mic / recorder? Yup, and it's pretty neat.

"Anton V" - who has more subscribers than I would ever dream of - asked, in the comments of my previous video related to the Pocket 3 and the Zoom M2, how well they worked when connected together. As i hadn't actually tried that, I experimented, and here is the result. This video doesn't really explore the difference in sound quality compared to the Pocket 3 internal mics, which are remarkably good, but it does show how the Zoom M2 can act as a USB-C mic, and as a USB-C headphone adapter for playback. Note that the connection is not a 32 bit float connection - you do have to adjust the levels appropriately - but you can record 32 bit float on the Zoom M2 and use that audio instead if you want. [Edited to add that it seems that the M2 can be set to output 32 bit float but the Pocket 3 won't record it - the level meters stop moving when I switch to that mode]
