The most corrupt cop in NYPD history.

Michael F. Dowd’s life story is literally a movie. Cinemills TV sits down with Dowd as he describes how the lines of being a “good” cop blurred from a small $200 cash payment in lieu of writing a ticket fast forward to him and his crew becoming de facto enforcers for various Drug Lords in East New York. Dowd went from “protecting an serving” society to protecting Drug Lords and serving his own interests. Dowd was joined privately by our Producers friend who served in the 84 Precinct during Dowds era. This Honest Cop played the game right and provided Dowd some interesting perspective as to the systematic damage he caused all of NYPD. Dowd candidly discusses his former New York City Police Department officer exploits and details his drug distribution methods, and being an active criminal associate of the Diaz organization. During his time as an NYPD Officer Dowd spent his days advantaging anyway he could from the East NY ghetto and the people who lived there. Although Dowd was a crooked Cop he would always back up his fellow officers and was willing to risk his life to protect his fellow officers even if that meant putting his life in the line of fire. Mike is not a bad person but made bad choices that he has paid deeply for. After serving well over a decade in prison, Mike has since made it his mission to give back to the community. Helping and educating from the cause and effect of his wrong doing - into something positive. His story has also been made into a documentary film called the SEVEN FIVE. Mike is also known for technical adviser for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), Ray Donovan (2013) and The Life (2018).
