Triba Triba is from the Laduma people, from the Boke and Boffa region in Guinea. Through the years Triba has been given different meanings. Some musicians say that, in the oldest period, Triba was the name given to a great dancer who performed with a group of percussionists. Later the rhythm got popular and Triba became a dance where mothers and their daughters dance together, after the young ladies became women.
