DBC Birding Adventures: Ecuador with Mike and Karen Warner

On April 3, 2025, The DuPage Birding Club kicked off its Birding Adventures series with Mike and Karen Warner sharing their 10-day, January 2025 trip to Ecuador. Birding Adventures are long-form videos of a trip club members have taken recently, including their photographs as well as logistical info that may be useful if you want to plan your own trip. Over time, we'll hopefully build up a travel guide of sorts for those interested in undertaking similar adventures. In Ecuador, Mike took thousands of bird pictures and also documented the places they stayed, food they ate, and the reserves they visited. This South American birding gem is home to 1,693 species, and Mike and Karen saw approximately 268 of them!
