For the performance of the 16, chairs that produced luminescence where placed in a simple and solid space; the performers took on the challenge of a sexy and mature performance in the art space. The group performance was coached by their leader LIKIYA. As a “challenge to a danceable ballad,” matched with the emotional up and down music, the dance shows choreography with an emotional feeling. Since their debut, various members have taken on the challenge of acting. The performers tried R&B in LIVE TOUR, not only the style they had in the time of their debut but always also continuing to try new challenges, and this is shown in their music video! Enjoy the dramatic nature of the songs and the audience’s views of love or their experiences together! ◇Comments from leader LIKIYA I have choreographed dances using chairs in lives concerts before, but it was the first time for me to use chairs to express the feelings of the music in a movies such as a music videos. It was difficult to figure out how much we could express the dance with the limited range of movement of the chairs. To check how the dance looked in the video, we recorded the videos and viewed them repeatedly in our homes. The fact that it is not easy to stand up from the chair, meant the dance performance’s message became “we want to touch, but we can not reach,” which links to how the hero feels for the woman in the video. The bridge part is more inorganic than before. The dance with agogics makes it easier to see emotional feelings, just like the vocal song’s feelings became stronger toward the chorus, like “a ballad which you can dance to.” Please check out our dance performance!
