I fell in love with this amazing Poet and writer, Warsan Shire, I could not help myself... when I first found her, I automatically knew that I needed to make her poems somehow part of my creative process. As a weirdo I am, I collect weird things (probably not what you are thinking right now), my major collection consist on old movies, old short films, commercials, documentaries, etc. I decided to mix my collection of old videos, and create a visual poetry (I tried)! _______________________________________­__­__ Understand her work through her own words: "I don’t care about stigma, shame, or bravado. Writing is cathartic for me, a lifeline. It’s about survival and mental health as much as it is about creativity and expression. Vulnerability and transparency is my default setting.
