Solo Ride to SACH PASS - The Big Daddy of All Passes (Full Video)

Solo Ride to the Toughest High Mountain Road : SACH PASS Date : 12th & 13th June 2017 Motorcycle : Royal Enfield Bullet Electra UCE On 2nd day of my Ladakh Trip, I tried to cross Sach Pass. But unfortunately Sach Pass wasn't open that day. Despite of great effort by PWD team, snow couldn't be cleared completely till the evening. First I decided to stay on Sach Pass that night because riding to the top was very tedious and I thought the bike may not be able to climb that tough ascent with that huge load again. I stayed on Sach Pass till 10:30pm and snowfall, thundering, rain everything started that time. So I decided to go back to Satrundi or Bairagarh to save my life. I kept my luggage there on Sach Pass behind a JCB and came back to Bairagarh where the climate was much fine. That ride was very scary and thrilling. Next morning I again went to Sach Pass. This time it was even more difficult to ride because of Black Ice on the road. PWD team arrived early in the morning and continued to clear the snow which was about 20-25ft high. Around 3pm snow was cleared & Sach Pass opened but the weather was horrible and again snowfall & ice storm started. I managed to cross Sach Pass and reach Killar by the evening.
