Installing saddlebags on the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 starts with the right holders. In this video, we show you step-by-step how to fit Longride’s dedicated saddlebag holders onto your Shotgun. With the right tools, this installation can be safely done at home, but if you’re unsure, we recommend asking your local garage for assistance. ⚠️ Important: Always consult the owner’s manual of your motorcycle for torque settings and safety notes that may not be covered in this video. 👉 Get the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Saddlebag Holders here: https://longride.com/collections/roya... Upper fixing point (supplied bolt): 17 mm spanner, ratchet with 17 mm socket. Lower fixing point (supplied bolt for pre-drilled hole): 6 mm Allen key, 13 mm spanner. ⚠️ Recommended order of installation: In the video, we first installed the holder at the top and then at the bottom. However, we suggest this sequence for easier alignment: Remove the upper OEM bolt. Position the holder and loosely install it using the supplied upper bolt (do not fully tighten yet). Install the lower bolt into the pre-drilled hole. Once everything is aligned, tighten both bolts fully. 🧑🔧Pro tip (shown at 1:02 in the video): When removing the upper OEM bolt, the nut will come off first while the bolt remains in place due to the bike’s weight. Use the passenger seat side handle to gently relieve the weight and free the bolt. Got questions? Drop them in the comments, we’ll be glad to help.
