At SIGGRAPH Asia 2023, we sat down with Rob Coleman, Creative Director at Industrial Light & Magic (Sydney) and two-time Oscar nominee for his work on Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. We discussed his background, how he fell in love with CG, his experience with Softimage (a now defunct digital content creation tool used on Jurassic Park and other major projects), his work on Star Wars & Men In Black.
