Ganondorf's AI is notorious in Melee for its overuse of Dark Dive against opponents above. However, here he completely forgets he has it, as well as how to use his up aerial or even double jump... Now Ganondorf will eventually figure out to just up air you or double jump. How quickly varies (usually he'll do it in under 30 seconds). Until then, he'll struggle to fruitlessly hit you as seen in the video.
