Quick short video just taking apart a Miele MRG Motor, tools needed is just a t20 torx screwdriver and a 14mm socket, to undo nut it goes clockwise, to re tighten is anti clockwise. Best way i found to remove fan cover is just taping it around with a 2x1 piece of timber, doesn't do any damage, useful to have a towel just to help when undoing nut to fan as they can be very tight and the fans themselves are very sharp. It s just a video to help if your thinking or changing the carbon brushes, or if the pcb connector block has blown as they are much cheaper to source rather than a whole motor which can be very expensive, so hopefully it can save usable motors and vacuums from being thrown away
