The Calla Trousers by Fabric Godmother

We are very excited to launch our first ever trouser pattern, The Calla Trousers. This pattern is designed for a beginner dressmaker, with options to add details that use more intermediate skills. The Calla Trousers have several different options for customising your own - The waistband has elastic channel through and the option of adding a drawstring detail. You can choose to make the trousers with either no pockets at all, a back patch pocket, a simple side pocket opening, or add an invisible zip to the pocket opening. The side leg panel can be made of a contrast fabric or have a trim added, for example a ribbon attached on top, or piping or trims sewn into one or both of the panel seams. All versions have a pintuck down the front. This pattern is made for knitted fabrics only e.g. medium weight jersey, Ponte Roma or sweatshirt fleece etc. The side leg panel can be made of a contrast jersey fabric or you can use a woven fabric for the side leg panel of a similar weight to the main fabric.
