Renting an electric bike in China, plus supercar heaven

In this video, Jason and Lexie wander around Shangjie searching for an electric bike/ motor scooter to rent. We are currently staying with Lexie's family in Shangjie, Henan, China which is about 1000km from Shanghai and 750km from Beijing. We're on a 3 month trip and taking each day as it comes. We've recently entered early retirement at the age of 53/52 and enjoying our new found simple life by slow travelling around Asia and Australia. This is how we are passing the day while in China. Walking the streets and looking for people that repair bikes is the best way to find something to rent. We ended up going back to the small shop we hired the bike from before going to Zhouzhi. Jason gets a little side tracked by the "New Energy Vehicles" that are popping up in China. These are small electric cars that are limited to 50km/h and can be driven without a licence or registration, so a great option for foreigners not keen to go through the drama of getting a drivers licence. only problem is, they are very new to the market so no second hands ones yet.
