Double sided machining is not as difficult to set up as you might think. Many people are intimidated by it, but in reality, you just need to create location holes in the top side of your work piece and mirrored holes in the wasteboard using some dowels as location pins. Once your piece is secured back down using new screw hole locations, your x and y zero locations stay the same and you're ready to start cutting on the opposite side. It's a pretty easy process!
