🎬 Discover Chimfunshi: Where People and Nature Thrive Together 🌿🐒 For over 40 years, Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage Trust has been a place of hope for rescued wildlife, a home for local communities, and a protector of Zambia’s incredible natural environment. This short film takes you inside Chimfunshi to discover our holistic approach to conservation, built around three key pillars: Chimfunshi Sanctuary, Community, and Conservation. 🐒 Our Sanctuary: One of the world’s largest chimpanzee sanctuaries, providing lifelong care to over 150 rescued chimpanzees and supporting the rescue and rehabilitation of other wildlife. 👨‍👩‍👧 Our Community: Supporting over 400 people through education, employment, healthcare, and community initiatives that empower local families. 🌳 Our Conservation: Protecting more than 10,000 hectares of Miombo forest, wetlands, and river ecosystems, home to over 350 bird species and diverse wildlife.
