An incredibly long comparison of how Television has evolved in the sims. I wonder if there is anyone out there who will actually sit through this one. Can you believe I thought this was gonna be a short one? clearly I forgot how long these short videos could get Anyways, I feel this is a compilation rather than a comparison as I barely touched on the gameplay. To be honest, I made this video because I wanted to see all of the channels together so I thought Id make it a video. I love seeing how these have changed with time and how creative they are getting! I feel channels were kind of neglected until recently, I love the new additions and I could have talked more about way more thing that can be done with a tv like making home videos, playing videogames, etc. But I have to cut it at some point! Anyways, which one is your favorite? My opinion? Sims 1 was the foundation, I understand getting a video was not gonna be a thing but I liked how creative they got with their audios, it is a very unique experience seeing every other TV is tied to whatever the game can actually do. Sims 2 is revolutionary, not only for being the first to use video, but for making channels so fun, I think Sims 1 took the job a little too seriously but Sims 2 just had fun with it, making parodies and such. However, I can barely see some of the videos cause the resolution is potatoe quality Sims 3 is kinda meh in this regard, the only thing they really did right is the weather channel imo cause its cool how well thought out it is. Sims 4 has good variety and it has the best video quality, obviously and when it comes to their stories I find the later ones have been the best, however, I cannot help but laugh when I see they use a car and its always the toy car. Someone get Sims 4 cars please! So yeah, my ranking would be 1, 3, 4-2 cause those games have ups and downs but they both have good stories and a nice variety. But thats just my opinion, let me know yours and Ill see you on the next one.
