The very first thing I did today was get dressed, do my hair, and put my makeup on — I was fully prepared to sit down and do my tarot reading for the day. Instead… life had other plans. Before I could even get started, I found myself helping a man stack and connect my washer and dryer in the tiniest space possible. That moment alone tested my patience and completely shifted the direction of my day. From there, it turned into one of those real-life days — unloading groceries, getting the house prepared for the freeze, and cooking a nice, hot meal to make sure we were settled for the night. Later on, I went upstairs to wind down — taking my makeup off, doing a little laundry, twisting Isa’s hair for school in the morning, and getting comfy. Just when I thought the day was over… I woke up the next morning to realize the electricity was off.
