A Very Rare Rusty XLS F150 Road Trip.

Kenny and I road trip to pick up this very rusty 1986XLS F150. Join us on this short adventure to the north side of Pittsburgh. I knew it was in bad shape but it so darn special, the only XLS I have ever seen without the XLS on the bed and with the raccoon eyes window black out treatment on the doors. The truck is powered by a 351W and a 4 speed. You can't compare the old 351 to anything from today but this was the biggest engine you could of got in this particular truck since it was a 1/2 ton short bed. The 82 351W had a miserable 150 HP and 265 FT LBS of torque, not exactly a hot road to say the least. Once we make it run and see what it has for oil pressure and compression I plan to make a decision to keep going or to part it out. If we do keep going I plan to lower it, install a 7.3L Power Stroke turbo and a throttle body fuel injection set up to handle the boost. Once all that is done we will probably fix the rust in the floors, cab corners and install a Lemons Rally cage in it to address the rot above the rear window.
