More Liquid Glass Medium videos are on the way... This was my first time using Tri Art Liquid Glass Pouring Medium in an acrylic pour. I had to hurry and pour the paints into the dirty cup because they were drying on the sides of the cups and the stir sticks pretty fast. The colors did seem to blend more with this medium. The cells kept growing well after I heated the paint with my heat gun. There were a ton of tiny cells as well. The cells were very interesting and seemed to have more blended paint inside them. The painting dried pretty fast and did not seem to retain the glass-like look that I'd hoped it would. The colors seemed to stay pretty true and those cells got even larger! I think if I use this medium again I will leave out the silicone and go for a more flowing look, maybe a deep blue with black and white. I think that would be the best application for me if I am going to mix my paints with it. I have used this to coat a dry painting and it looks awesome! It makes it look like it is sitting under glass (like resin). May then be nice as an isolation coat between paint and varnish. It really brings the colors out that way. So, I really think this stuff is pretty cool.... I just won't be adding silicone to paints mixed with it in the future and will not use as many colors. I usually use a mixture of Elmer's Glue, Floetrol, Flow Aid and water, the recipe can be found here • New pouring medium!!! Recipe for pouring m... Produced with CyberLink PowerDirector 16
