This is my daily stitching for 11/12/25, pretty much in real time from start to finish so that you can see how to begin when you don't really know what to stitch. In this video you can see how to use silk boucle yarn effectively as a border to outline your daily stitching, and how to stitch a simple grid with self-couched silk perle 12 thread. Any reasonable embroidery thread will create a similar effect, though if you're using a thicker thread like perle 5 then you might need a finer thread to couch it down with.
