[the audience was not] I've barely unpacked my feelings about this show and how much I miss it and it hasn't even been 3 weeks yet. So I am doing great, obviously. I haven't been this deeply affected by a fictional character in a LONG time, he's one of the few characters in television that I've latched onto in the pilot and hope he goes the distance. For the first couple of seasons he was extremely lonely and clinging to who he used to be / who he thought he wanted to be. With the help of his "found" family in Stevie and Patrick as well as Alexis, he slowly shed away that past and became whole. The penultimate episode of the series where he says "I want those people to know that I'm not a joke and that I've won".. will stick with me for a LONG time. His journey of self-love and acceptance.. he was always enough, he just wasn't surrounded by the right people who could show him that.
