If your 2005-10 Honda Odyssey's battery dies overnight and the power sliding doors aren't closing properly, chances are that the latch/closer assembly isn't working properly. In this video, I show you the complete start to finish process of removing the latch, cleaning and re-lubricating it, and then putting everything back together. Of course, you can just install a new latch assembly if you don't mind the extra cost. Notes: At 10:25 I say that the top bolt can't fit through the whole, but it does actually fit through the whole. However, removing it makes the latch much easier to maneuver out. At 20:28 I put the bolts back in the wrong holes. The one with the big washer goes on the bottom, and then I think the one with the slightly larger flange goes on top. At 29:14 I say something about "it was this door that I fixed." Well, I fixed both doors but only showed you guys the passenger's side. lol I'm planning on making an update video after this one ticks past a full year or so. Sooner if they stop working properly.
