The story follows Raju, a passionate young man deeply in love with Preetha. But their love story is shattered when Preetha is forced by her father to marry someone else. Heartbroken and feeling betrayed, Raju loses faith in love and women. His pain turns him bitter, and he begins treating relationships casually, believing emotions only bring suffering. Raju leaves his old life behind and moves to the city. There, he befriends Kalu, who introduces him to Rai Sahab, a powerful man involved in illegal activities. Raju slowly rises in the criminal world, earning Rai Sahab’s trust and eventually inheriting his empire — along with his title. The once emotional lover transforms into a hardened, influential underworld figure. Meanwhile, tragedy strikes Preetha’s life. She dies after giving birth to a daughter, Radha. Years later, Radha grows up as a college student, innocent and full of life, unaware of her mother’s past connection with Raju. She lives with her aunt Geeta, who looks exactly like Preetha and runs an ashram for unwed pregnant women, symbolizing compassion and redemption. During a fundraising show for the ashram, Radha performs a traditional dance that her mother used to perform. Raju, now a wealthy donor, watches the performance — and is overwhelmed with memories of Preetha. Seeing Radha, who resembles her mother, shakes him emotionally.
