Riva ETR450 Pendolino, Riva E444 and Riva E565 in 1988

This video is meant to show the ETR450 as it was first delivered in 1988, and how it looked with contemporary rolling stock. My ETR450 is in the original 6 car formation that would have been seen in 1988, but it has the wrong Trenitalia logos, so don't look too closely! At this time, the E444s had not been upgraded for 200km/h (apart from the E447 pool, which could do 180km/h), so the ETR450s must have been quite an exciting innovation, even if they were to quite a dated design (similar to the 1970s ETR401). The E444 express features a "new" GC88 coach, as well as UIC-Z coaches that would have been new or nearly new at the time. The orange / white stripe coach is a 1970s vintage Eurofima in C1 livery. Finally, in the centre, we have my Riva E565, hauling Riva Type 59 coaches, just to provide a contrast with the sleek Pendolino.
