Clive Littlewood's collective of Sagegazers out of Cornwall, UK - Electronical Dreams - was one of the most powerful collectives of them all. . . . In 1988, Clive learned that the Progbarians had discovered the continued existence of the Sagegazers (and their coveted Blue Crystals) in the UK. He knew that they would be coming to do battle once again. The eternal battle that had raged across time, again and again, infinitely. Clive had also learned that collectives like Valley of the Sun, Soundings of The Planet and Mu-Psych, amongst others, had had great success warding off the Progbarians with compilation tapes. In 1988 Clive gathered a mighty host of synthesists and the Blue Crystals in Cornwall to make The Dream is Just the Beginning. Sagegazers like Ron Berry, Mark Griffiths, Tim Stebbing, Hillman and others. The power of this comp would keep the British Isles free of Progbarians for the next few years. To prolong this era, Clive recruited the powerful Sagegazer Steve Charlton to join his collective in the early-90s. And so it came to pass that in 1992, Charlton recorded his classic cassette - Haven. Haven became the soundtrack to this time of peace prior to the Sagegazers last battles with the Progbarians, and the Sagegazers' Third Migration. . . . The old world returned to the Sagegazers in the shape of the Progbarians — restless shadows from the age of the Glimmerlight — haunting them like a ghost that whispered through dreams. From that moment, the Sagegazers knew that nothing truly changes. All things echo what came before. The spinning wheel turns in its eternal circle, each destiny bound to the next, Progbarians and Sagegazers entwined in the same unbroken thread.
