Together, we stood in the square, filled with emotion. In the square, we were reminded of the assassination of the prime minister. In the square, we reminded ourselves that we can never again allow political murder to shake the foundations of our state. Together, we pledged to take a stand against the incitement and division that led to the assassination of a prime minister 22 years ago, declaring that such things have no place in Israel. When we stand together, we are stronger than the forces trying to tear us apart. This is our home, the home that we all share. On Saturday night, November 4, 2017, we stood together, 85,000 Israelis, and said that above everything else, we are one people. We are not enemies.
