The Cyprus Third Age (C3A) 10th anniversary festival held at the Zante restaurant in Limassol on 11th - 12th October 2014. The C3A is a self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operative for those who are no longer in full time employment. For more information visit our website at http://c3a-cyprus.org/ Established in 2003 as U3A Cyprus, and gaining registration in 2008 as the Cyprus Third Age Association (C3A), we draw members from across the island and we are one of more than 800 U3As around the globe whose total membership exceeds 250,000. The C3A approach to learning is - learning for pleasure. There is no accreditation or validation and there are no assessments or qualifications to be gained. Our local C3A branches are learning co-operatives that share educational, creative and leisure activities provided by their own members. The teachers learn and the learners teach. At the present time we have Branches operating in Limassol, Paphos, Pissouri and Nicosia. Between them, C3A members offer all the chance to study different subjects in such fields as art, languages, music, history, archaeology, computing, archery, sailing and photography. The Cyprus Third Age (C3A) is a unique and exciting organisation. It provides opportunities for those who are no longer in full-time employment to make new friends, pursue their interests and participate in a range of activities through special interest groups, lectures and seminars and social events organised and run by its members.   The C3A is affiliated to the Third Age Trust (UK U3A).
