Wrapper - Jalapa Corojo 99 Binder - Nicaragua (Jalapa) Filler - Criollo 98, Corojo 99 (Jalapa, Esteli) Size - 4 1/2 x 54 Thoughts Good burn and smoke output. I typically don't like corojo so lets see what happens here. This is NOT my first cigar just to be fair. Antique cedar note, the note you'd get from sawing at an old cedar nightstand. Very dry smoke texture, I'm already reaching for water. A plum note as well. The antique part of the note is courtesy of Johnny OCD. He mentioned it the other day and I was like OH CRAP your right......thats the cedar note I wasn't getting. I also used to go to garage sales etc with my grandparents so as soon as he said antique it clicked. Also hay.....very much up front with the shaved antique cedar note. Interesting but not super exciting 2nd 3rd still heavy on cedar, the plum note has turned to a light brown sugar. There's a couple very off putting notes I cant put my finger on but its what I always get out of corojo 99. Again, I am not a huge corojo 99 fan......at all That note I don't care for is almost the note of sawing a 2x4 with skill saw and if ya burn the wood during the cut........that's the note........I don't likey. Final 3rd I also got a pancake note which was nice, OH floral has entered the game final third.......its trying to hide the couple notes I dont like haha Anyway, this cigar isn't for me. I knew it wouldn't be but had it so wanted to give it a shot. You should try it, you might like it. I'm not a professional.....just a guy sharing his experience
