Another day, another dent in my massive pile of kits. This is a kit I bought about a month ago, mostly because I just wanted a Hyaku Shiki and saw that the Daban version of the kit came with a Mega Particle Cannon. I didn't anticipate building the combined version, but it looks pretty cool so I went with it. Technically, this kit also builds the Hyaku Shiki Kai, and while I did briefly consider it I decided that the two weren't really all that different (it's pretty much just the shoulders and head, everything else is the same) and that I wanted to the combined Hyaku Shiki + Particle Cannon build, which is what you see here. This kit is definitely not as finger-breaking as other Daban kit, but there was still a good amount of force required to put it together. Overall though, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It's a bit bigger than perhaps I would've wanted, but it still fits nicely on my shelf.
