Why does relational tension feel so disruptive—and what is God doing in it? In this reflection, we move from the theological vision of life-giving relationships into the lived reality of friction within community. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 8, we explore what happens when freedom, conscience, and love collide—and why our choices always shape the spiritual lives of others. This episode examines: • Why relational tension is inevitable • How fragmentation within relationships affects our inner life and our relationship with God • The danger of normalizing disintegration • The role of conscience in communal life • How spiritual practices cultivate relational attentiveness Often, the very friction we resist becomes the context in which growth unfolds.
