I solo sail from Costa Rica to Panama and take on the epic adventure of navigating up a windy, shallow and quite remote river upon my arrival in Panama. My depth sounder has seen bigger numbers for sure, charts are incorrect and I have to be on my toes not to ground my sailboat on a riverbank. The return to Panama lays a little heavy on my heart...but at least, Panama still has spots for me to discover, which always makes returning not quite so bad ;). It's time for family again, our full movie-length documentary has to be released and I promised Maria to help her with her charters for the 2018 season. This season has definitely been too short (that's how it felt to me at least), but one good thing about the time delay betwween filming and publishing is: It's nearly time to return to Karl in real time :)!!!
