Turn Off Ignition REMOVAL 1. Remove Door Card 1. Remove Trim Panel Below Door Handle (pry on right side and apply force to the pry.) 1. Remove 3 Bolts (T30) 2. Unclip Door Card 1. Start on bottom right side and unclip all 2. Pull on door trim from all sides (remove all retaining clips in door) 3. Press/Pull door trim card upwards to disengage it from the window slot 3. Unclip Door Handle 1. Unclip Bowden Cable 2. Swivel it inwards 3. Disengage End of cable inside the door handle 4. Disconnect Electrical Unit 1. Unplug/release mechanisms on connectors on the left. 2. Potentially Remove Electrical connector for speaker 5. Lay Door Car somewhere safe where it can not fall or scratch 2. Remove Inner Door Cover with wedge 3. Remove Regulator Motor 1. Unplug Connector 2. Remove 3 screws for motor (T20) 4. Remove Bass Loudspeaker 1. Remove Connector 2. Remove 4 bolts (8mm) 3. Pry Speaker From Door 5. Remove Window 1. Detach Inner Window Slot Trim Stick from Door Seam 1. Detach retaining lugs on sealing element of inner window shoulder (left number 1) 2. Lift off inner window slot trim strip (lift upwards) 3. Detach retaining lugs on sealing element of inner window shoulder (right number 3) 2. Lower Door Window Until bolts in opening are visible 3. Unscrew bolt #1 (left) and bolt #4 (right) by just four turns (left bolt #1 window must be completely removed to pull out window) (T30) 4. Lift Window up out of the clamping jaws and out of the door. 6. Remove Motor Regulator Clips 1. Use an 11mm socket to release retaining clips (slide socket over thread pins) 7. Remove Regulator 1. Loosen bottom nuts by 3 turns (12mm) 2. Remove top two nuts 3. Remove regulator INSTALL 1. Install New Regulator 1. Install Regulator 2. Screw in top nuts 3. Screw in bottom nuts 2. Install Window Regulator Motor 1. Make Sure retaining clips are fully clipped in 2. Screw in 3 bolts 3. Plug In Connector 3. Install Window 1. Tilt door window forwards, insert it in door window guide and then rotate it into door slot. 2. Push door window carefully and parallel downwards into clamping jaws. When doing so, make sure door window is secured in window guide (front). 3. Press door window downwards into clamping jaws. 4. Screw in bolt #4 (right) 5. Screw in bolt #1 (left) 4. Install Inner window trim 1. Attach retaining lugs on sealing element of inner window shoulder (right number 3) 2. Push on inner window slot trim strip (lift upwards) 3. Attach retaining lugs on sealing element of inner window shoulder (left number 1) 5. Install Bass Speaker 1. Clip in connector 2. Screw in 4 bolts 6. Install Inner Cover 7. Install Door Trim/Card 1. Reconnect door card connectors 2. Reconnect door handle wire POST-INSTALL: 1. Reprogram Window Position 1. (Ignition On, Engine Off, all doors closed) 2. Fully open the window: Press and hold the window button until the window is fully open. 3. Release the button and press it again: Release the button and then press it again (as for opening the window) for more than 10 seconds. 4. Close the window completely: Press and hold the window button until the window is fully closed. 5. Release the button and pull it again: Release the button and then pull it again (as for closing the window) for more than 10 seconds.
