This engine was sold through Flitehook, Totton, United Kingdom in the 1990's. It was designed and made by Lumir Polednik in the Czech Republic. The engine is vaguely reminiscent of the obscure Hallam 2.5 c.c. diesel from the late 1940's, however there is no connection. It is believed up to 50 of these engines may have been sold, however no one is certain. They were a very limited production item. Variations in anodising colour and the shape of the cooling jacket are common. The engine is very well made an finished. High build quality from Czech manufacturers rapidly became a hallmark after the dissolution of the former Czech Soviet Socialist Republic. Propeller: Kaysun red polypropylene 7 x 5. Fuel composition: equal parts di-ethyl ether, Jet-A1 and castor oil plus 1.5% AMSOIL diesel cetane boost.
