Gameplay of WINNER - a Norwegian Knipsekasse meaning it is a flick-a-coin payout machine. Producer is unknown, but it shares the same cabinet and parts as used in HANDY machines. Being 100% mechanical it is probably older, placing it in the early 1970s. It could also be a side project or prototype created simultaneously or later than the Handy machines. Handy was produced by Elektroniske Spilleautomater a.s in Ski, Norway. The game is skill based, and the aim of the gamle is to hit the numbered gates, winning the stated number of coins of the same type as inserted. These games were very popular in Norway. The gamles are often referred to as Kronespill or Kronesautomat, in Finland they are called Pajatso, Payazzo, or similar. In Germany thew were called Fingerschlag. The machine is 100% mechanical, and features really impressive win combinations and visual effects. In many ways so much more features and effects than the normal machines. The R mechanism consist of cut plexi and glue, and does not function as intended. It is a bit unclear how it is ment to work, but most obvious theory that as soon as you fill up one of the sides, it will release all coins on both sides. Another theory could be that the mechanism is ment to shift from one side to the other, but my 5 cents goes ro release all.
