How To Reset Hyundai Tire Pressure Light (Simplified Guide). In this video tutorial I will show you how to reset Hyundai tire pressure light. Here is how to do it: • Before starting the tire pressure light reset process, ensure all your Hyundai tires are inflated to the recommended pressure. You can get more details regarding this on your manual or on a tag located on the driver’s side door. Method one: Models with automatic TPMS reset. • Take your Hyundai car for a brief drive of about ten to fifteen minutes while keeping a speed of at least 50 mph. This action will initiate a tire pressure sensor reset upon your next vehicle startup. Method two: Models with manual TPMS reset button • Set your car in park mode and switch off the engine. • Then, slide your key into the ignition slot and twist it to the on position, ensuring not to power up the engine. If your Hyundai features a push-button start, hit the button, ensuring you keep off from the brake. • Next, find the TPMS reset button beneath or on the side of the steering column. • Push that TPMS reset button until the tire pressure light shows three quick flashes. • Let the reset button go and then set the engine on. • Once the engine is running, keep your Hyundai idling for a twenty-minute timeframe to facilitate a system refresh and sensor recalibration. • Anticipate that the tire pressure light will remain active during this time, but it will switch after the recalibration process is complete. • After that, look at your car’s dashboard. • The tire pressure light should switch off to indicate the reset process worked. If the tire pressure fails to do so, redo the reset process. Alternative method (For Models Without Reset Button) • Adjust your tire pressure to three PSI above the advised limit. • Then, let the air out of the tires until they are completely flat. • Once done, fill your tires to the desired pressure. • It will enable the TPMS to register the new pressure and reset the TPMS light of your Hyundai.
