This project took 2 years of my life, my heart, and my hands. This build isn’t just a project — it’s a part of my soul. ❤️ Back in 2017, I began restoring my dream ride, a 1984 Mitsubishi Pajero MK1 Short Wheel Base, brand-new imported and powered by a 4D56 intercooler turbo diesel engine. It took 2 years of sweat, passion, and dedication to bring this legend back to life. Every bolt turned and every start of the engine reminded me how much love I poured into it. Even though I sold it three years ago, this will forever remain one of the proudest and most emotional chapters of my life. 🔧 Full Restoration & Modifications Engine - 4D56 Intercooler Turbo Diesel (Complete overhaul with Recon head, new water pump, starter motor, injectors, and injector pump). Steering/Hubs - Reconditioned Power Steering Pump installed. Upgraded with AISIN Manual Locking Hubs for reliable 4x4 engagement. Exhaust - 2.5-inch Straight Pipe Exhaust upgrade for pure turbo sound and flow. Turbo/Cooling - New top-mount intercooler with a new exhaust manifold. All hoses replaced with Samco hoses (including breather hoses). Drivetrain - Complete gearbox overhaul and complete differential overhaul (front and rear). Brakes - Full overhaul, Recondition L049 master pump and brake booster, with L049 front discs and rear drums. Electrical - Complete reconditioned wire harness with all brand new Hella relays for total reliability. A/C System - Complete A/C restoration, including recon condenser, compressor, filter, and brand new A/C lines. Bodywork - Full body paint with meticulous rust removal and tinkering. Suspension - 2-inch body lift for clearance and stance. Original ARB Old Man EMU Steering Stabilizer. Wheels/Tyres - Aggressive stance on 10-inch steel wheels wrapped in 31x10.5x15 Maxxis mud tyres. Interior - Complete interior restoration, meticulously refurbished with brown materials to match the original factory color, and fitted with a Recaro Bucket seat for more comfort. Exterior Lighting - Original Hella Rallye 3000 spotlights paired with a powerful 12-inch LED light bar. 💖 My Family’s Support This build wouldn’t have been possible without the endless support of my loved ones. • My Wife – who stood by me from start to end, through every late night and every challenge.
